Last year, I took a fine arts class for college, and had to write a critique on a piece of art. We were allowed to pick a local piece of architecture as our subject, and I was initially disappointed that I couldn't write about one of the magnificent buildings in Chicago (where I lived for 18 years prior to moving to Texas). I thought Fort Worth was an architectural wasteland until I discovered the Kimbell. I wrote my critique on that gorgeous building.
