I love bookshelves and really am crazy about that Nuevo Estilo room – those couches look so comfy! But slanted bookshelves would drive me crazy, haha, guess I’m just made for straight shelves. Great post Maria!

The Carpe Diem shelf here is very interesting. It seems to be affixed to the wall which is great because you can still appreciate that beautiful base board.

I really like the non-traditional bookcases. I already have a couple of walls covered with books, but perhaps I can talk Betsy into allowing one of these bookcases in the living room.
